Meeri Tuominen

I am a visual artist and an artisan glassblower from Finland. I use multiple materials and techniques in my art, for example glass, ceramic, painting, drawing and sculpting. I'm a part of Tampere-based art collective Hiekkalaatikko.

I'm inspired by underwater worlds, aquatic organisms, alternative dimensions, insects and the decomposition progress of organic material. I wish to make the viewer think about their relationship with nature and themselves through my art.
